“Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch’entrate” translates from Italian as “Abandon all hope, ye who enter here” — the infamous inscription over the gates of Hell in Dante’s “Divine Comedy”.

The crew uses this imagery to paint a grim picture of modern society, showing it trapped in mental darkness, ignorance, and pure hopelessness. The track takes aim at a system that turns people into a mindless herd, boxed in by materialism and mass manipulation.

The whole joint is packed with the esoteric, occult, and dark imagery that defines the group’s signature style. They’re spitting bars about humanity’s existential crisis, making the case that for anyone who actually thinks for themselves, the modern world has basically become a living hell.
