Deeq – Unholy War (2019) [UK]

Philosophical and metaphorical reflection on human nature, the struggle between good and evil, pain, and the divine versus demonic principles. The entire composition is built around the idea that the primary conflict unfolds within the individual. The author no longer believes in the classic division of the world into pure “good” and “evil”— in his reality, they are intertwined or reversed.

The body is viewed as a temple or a vessel containing both the blessings of angels and the trials of the Devil. The track’s chorus proclaims the collapse of familiar religious landmarks. If dogmas are inverted, then prayers for help lose their meaning or are “recalled,” as the boundaries between good and evil have been erased.

Regardless of whether it is an open confrontation or a hidden conspiracy, a physical battle or a spiritual one — a state of war remains the sole constant of existence.
