Caxton Press – The Press (2011) [UK]

The track “The Press” by the British hip-hop collective Caxton Press (featuring rappers Manage, Kingpin, eMCee Killa, and vocalist Amy True) proclaims the power of the word, independent thinking, and a return to real, conscious hip-hop. Musically, it is built around dark samples, creating a sense of a confident onslaught, advance, and the authors’ unyielding convictions.
