Djamhellvice – A Prendre (2014) [France]

The track “A Prendre” by French hardcore lyricist Djamhellvice kicks off his 2014 album “Des maux, crasseries”.

The rapper is basically saying that life doesn’t give you any breaks. The rules of the street and harsh reality are brutal, and you either have to take them as they are and learn how to survive, or you’re going to lose. Djamhellvice calls out social inequality, the hypocrisy of society, and the struggles that kids from poor neighborhoods have to deal with.
